Operating hours Monday - Thursday—10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday—10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Services The Operating Engineers Credit Union is a full-service credit union giving members access in person, by phone or through 1,300 ATMs (with no additional surcharges) across the country. Share Accounts—Carry insurance in case of death, to a maximum of $2,000 for eligible members, and earn dividends, if declared by the Board of Directors Chequing Accounts—No charge for cash withdrawals and deposits, charge for each cheque cleared is $0.25 Plan 24—Earns interest on the closing daily balance payable semi-annually Non-Chequing—Earns interest on the minimum monthly balance payable semi-annually Term Deposits—Minimum deposit of $1,000. Interest paid on maturity. Personal Loans—Carry loan protection insurance in case of death to a maximum of $10,000 for eligible members and additional coverage is available at reasonable rates. Mortgage Loans—Registered first and second mortgage loans at current rates, no bonus or penalty for prepayment on one-year open term Lines of Credit—Available at current loan rate Retirement Savings—Registered Retirement Savings Plan and Registered Retirement Income Fund through Credit Union Central of B.C. Travellers Cheques—American Express - Canadian, U.S. or Sterling - commission free Insurance—Group Mortgage Life Insurance, Credit Disability Insurance and Credit Life Insurance Membercard—For use at any Exchange, Interac, Cirrus, Gateway/Acculink or Plus network and point-of-sale purchases Memberlink—Telephone Banking Service that allows members to pay bills, transfer funds inter-branch and obtain account balances More information |
