Three-week Brandt Tractor labour dispute is over

The three-week labour dispute between Brandt Tractor and members of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 115 is over. With the work disruption behind them, the parties have returned to work. (read more)




Annual Open House & Heavy Equipment Rodeo
Hundreds of Local 115 members, family and friends attended this year's Open House & Heavy Equipment Rodeo on June 21 and put on by the Training Plan. The heavy equipment simulator and several pieces of equipment that were available to try out were popular attractions. Many of the attendees came to learn more about the courses and apprenticeships we offer.

A valuable contribution to Operating Engineers
The Construction Sector Council (CSC) is a unique labour-business partnership that addresses human resource issues facing the construction industry, such as what to do about the aging workforce, the need for skills training and the development of occupational standards.
